All of us who know someone who went through a breast cancer process agree that all these women have similar characteristics such as the elegance that characterizes them, the joy that always overflows them, the strong and unique personalities they have, that they are very loving persons and fighters that nothing ever defeats them.
This elegant top is composed of a long pink fabric that passes over the right shoulder and under the left arm, knotting into a bow above the right breast. When this bow is undone and dropped, a horizontal line can be seen on the right breast made with black flower embroidery. The pink ribbon represents the symbol of breast cancer, and the horizontal line embroidered with black flowers symbolizes the scar left after the operation, which blooms thanks to the new opportunity that life gives to women who undergo this surgery. The metaphor of this blouse is to show how elegant and empowered these women may look on the outside, but the moment you undo the bow and get to see them on the inside, you can realize the battles they have overcome. This blouse is also a way to show that the reality of some people is not what you see at first glance because real stories are known when people are totally open.
