THE CYCLE OF THE SUITCASE

About 60 years ago, my grandparents left everything they knew in Portugal in search of a better future, and they arrived in Venezuela. For many years, they built a home, teaching us their culture while embracing a new one, a unique blend that has shaped my life. Now, as my country struggles, it is my turn to leave, carrying this blend of cultures, wherever the future

may take me.

This collection is a reflection of that journey: garments that carry memory, tradition, and transformation. Portuguese Madeiran embroidery merges with Venezuelan weaving, basketry, and handmade textiles, reimagined through the lens of

fashion. Each piece feels like luggage worn on the body, layered, patched, and rebuilt, holding both belongings and memories. It is not about leaving one culture behind, but about fusing them into a new identity. A traveler's wardrobe, poetic and resilient, carrying both past and future within every stitch.
